This is the finished piece that I started working on at Otronicon 2013! Finally finished up all of the colors, along with highlights, effects, etc.
Some of my earliest memories of drawing include making pictures of Godzilla when I was around 4 years old, so for the show I wanted to make him. Then, it was suggested by my future brother in law to include Evangelion in the mix. Now, I'm a BIG Godzilla fan, but I think he has his work cut out for him here. Also, I wanted to make him look really aggressive, so I took a few styling cues from the face of Zilla, and incorporated it into my design. One thing I wanted to retain with this piece, was to make it look like a movie still - so I hope I was successful with that goal. Hope you guys enjoy!
